CIRCON is an intelligent pump control for circulation and high-efficiency pumps. The self-teaching control adapts the otherwise permanent pre-heating of hot water to the usage of the tenants and thus saves a lot of energy. Recurring times of water consumption are registered, and the device turns the pump on shortly before so that hot water is available at the usual time. At times when the device has registered no consumption, the pump is not operated. Changes the habit, CIRCON learns immediately and adjusts the supply. An integrated legionella surveilllance provides for a regular flushing of the pipe system at maximum boiler temperatures and thus prevents the increase of legionellae and other micro organisms.

CIRCON reduces the circulation times causing energy loss to a minimum by using its self-teaching control function. In most cases, domestic water supply is only controlled temperature-dependently and the circulation pump ensures that the water in the pipes circulates continually and that the water that is cooling is constantly replaced by warm water. That is good and comfortable, but:
You continuously loose expensive heating energy since the heat is transferred to the walls and environment, especially if you do not need any water for several hours. Besides wasting valuable thermal energy, your circulation pump is in operation 24/7 and your boiler needs many additional heating cycles to heat the buffer storage tank again and again.
That is a waste of energy for 24 hours!
Using the CIRCON pump control brings you several adavantages.
Technical features:
It switches on when a hot water valve in the house has been opened. A temperature sensor in the riser behind the boiler detects any change in the water temperature of the pipe. If a hot water valve is being opened anywhere in the house, even for a short time, a quick shot of hot water from the boiler shoots into the riser and will be detected by the temperature sensor immediately - and the pump is switched on.
Depending on the pipe installation and delivery capacity of the pump, it can take a few minutes, especially if the circulation system has many branches.
The CIRCON control prevents this by anticipatory circulation. The device detects and automatically stores your regular usage habits and switches the pump on in anticipation, so that waiting times will not occur any more. CIRCON "is learning" continuously and synchronizes the anticipated tap times with the real tap times.
If certain habits stop, they will be "forgotten". If your habits at weekends are significantly different from your usual habits during the week, the device automatically learns them. In these intervals the anticipatory pump runs are blocked.
If there is a longer absence, e.g. during holidays, pump runs are fully blocked, except for occasional flushings, until the first resident "reports back" by using water. The learned habit rhythm is reactivated instantly.
You do not need to worry about programming an additonal control.

A multi-coloured LED display shows the operation status of the device and the statistics of the pump switch-on times.
That means, the pump only runs, when it is needed.
