Adjusting screws made of carbon steel for the alignment of substructures on timber building materials. The screws have two different threads on head and tip. The head thread is used to keep the material to be fastened at a distance, the tip thread fastens the substructure. The distance is adjusted precisely to the millimetre by turning the screw to the left. The cut notch reduces the splitting tendency in the wood, the countersunk allows for a flush-fit installation.
