Overpressure device for steel tanks intended for above-ground storage of fuel oil and diesel fuel in accordance with DIN 6625 to avoid overpressure in storage tanks during the filling process.
When vent pipes are closed or in case of overfilling, the overpressure device protects against impermissible pressure increase in the tank and, thus, prevents damages.
The overpressure device is pressure-tight up to a water column of 10 m. Therefore, it is excellently suitable in areas liable to flooding or rather high water.
Note:
Two or more overpressure devices must be installed for filling rates of more than 300 l/min.
