Bar clamp for connecting or fixing workpieces. The bar clamp is provided with an ergonomically shaped wooden handle and with a drop-forged sliding and fixed arm for resilient and elastic clamping. The optimised rail profile allows for 20% more clamping force per spindle turn. There is also maximum safety due to linear transfer of force at the sliding arm, and from a projection of 80 mm the pressure plates can be changed without the need for tools.
