High-quality tube for the insulation of heating and cooling pipes. Besides thermal insulation, the tube is particularly suitable for pipes in refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems. The insulation layer made from elastomeric foam prevents the formation of condensation water on the enclosed lines. The tube has an adhesive layer and is directly glued to the pipe. The elastomeric foam is provided with the antibacterial Microban to prevent mould formation. A polethylene jacket protects against damages. The material is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing.
