High-quality tube for the insulation of heating and cooling pipes. In addition to providing thermal insulation, the tubes are particularly suitable for pipes in refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems. The insulation layer made of elastomeric foam prevents the formation of condensation water on the enclosed pipes. The elastomeric foam is provided with the antibacterial Microban to prevent mould formation. A polyethylene jacket protects the hose from damage. The material is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing.
