It provides for clean, fresh and crystal clear water in an environment-friendly way. The UV-C radiation neutralises bacteria, viruses and other primitive organisms and stops them from multiplying. Therefore, the amount of concentrated chlorine can be reduced by 50 - 80%. Chlorine smell, irritations of the skin and red eyes will be eliminated. Additionally, the inner stainless steel side causes a reflection of the UV-C radiation and, as a result, increases the UV-C yield by up to 35%. A built-in electronic ballast ensures a smooth and constant power supply.

Salzwasserpool beständig?
Answer OEG:
Die Desinfektionseinheit ist nicht für Salzwasser geeigent, hierfür haben wir alternative die Einheit Blue Lagoon UV-C Tech salt water disinfection 75W.
Diese ist jedoch ohne Timer und mit einem Empfohlener Durchfluss bei 30 mJ/cm² [m³/h] von 14 anstelle von 16.

Volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing: "De roestvrijstalen behuizing van het apparaat is niet geschikt voor zoutwaterbaden met een hoog zoutgehalte. Bij een te hoog zoutgehalte zal het staal oxideren en de behuizing beschadigen."
