All product information Scope of deliveryThe Windkat system with injection nozzles is the optimum solution for achieving maximum, even draw in chimneys. Wind can affect the suction effect of a conventional chimney in such a way that it may cause exhaust gas accumulation in the chimney and the escape of dangerous CO and CO2 into the living space. A Windkat cowl reliably prevents this with its injection nozzles.The innovative design of the cowl always creates the required suction by negative pressure - even low exhaust temperatures allow optimum chimney operating conditions. The aerodynamic properties of the Windkat system can be measurably calculated in terms of wind influence according to the new DIN EN 13384-1. The operating mode has been TÜV-tested. Due to improved combustion efficiency, it saves heating costs. The Windkat can be used for gas- and oil-fired as well as for solid-fuel fireplaces. It can be mounted easily and without much time-consuming effort. The chimney cowl does not require any building approval. It complies with all demands of the FeuVO and DIN 18160. The material is guaranteed stainless and resistant to wind and weather.
