Motorised MOK AD flue gas damper with actuator for controlling the flue gas opening on oil and gas appliances without pilot flame and without condensate formation, with metal‑tight closure for negative‑pressure flue gas systems. The housing and flap components are made of high‑grade stainless steel, and the integrated sealing membrane is made of EPDM.

The motor‑driven damper opens before the burner starts and thus prevents flue gas build‑up, unlike thermal dampers which react later. On solid fuel appliances, the damper works together with the stove controller to provide optimum combustion. When the heating system is not in use, the flue gas damper closes automatically, preventing heated room air and stored heat in the stove from being lost, which saves energy and reduces fuel consumption.

In cascade systems, the motor‑driven flue gas damper prevents unwanted discharge or backflow of flue gases by closing all appliances that are not in operation. The patented mechanism ensures maximum operational reliability, long service life and dependable performance, regardless of the installation position or location. Manual operation and function checks are also possible at any time.
