This automatic excess flow device is a safety equipment for gas hose lines. It blocks the gas flow as soon as the nominal flow is exceeded by 10%. Thus, it prevents gas from escaping when the hose line is damaged or has become loose. The safety device opens and closes automatically, thereby, a small overflow quantity escapes. Due to a longer hose line, the opening process may be delayed. The excess flow device is DIN-DVGW-certified and meets the requirements acc. to BGV D 34 §9 and 10.
