Manual excess flow device for gas hose assemblies. It prevents gas from escaping when the hose assembly is damaged or has come loose, and it closes the gas passage automatically as soon as the nominal flow is exceeded by 10 %. Only after manual re-opening, gas can flow again. The excess flow device complies with the requirements as per BGV D 34 §9 and 10.
