The excess gas flow valve is an automatic safety device, which instantly blocks the gas flow in the pipe when a preset value is accidentally exceeded. This is an active tool to protect against tampering according to the technical rules of gas installation (TRGI). The pipe is also protected in case of breakage. It is suitable for all types of gas as specified in EN 437 and DVGW G260/1.
It is suitable for horizontal or vertical installation with flow direction upwards.
