High-quality membrane expansion vessel suitable for sealed solar heating systems. The flexible membrane absorbs excess water pressure caused by thermal expansion. Thereby, the pressure of the system remains constant. The vessel filled with nitrogen gas is individually tested on tightness and pre-charge pressure. The butyl membrane is approved for a glycol content of up to 50% in the water. The powder-coated steel half-shells are connected by a galvanised clamp ring. The water supply connection is uncoated for an improved screw connection.
