Fernox DS-3 special descaling agent removes limescale deposits quickly and effectively, increasing the efficiency of the system. DS-3 contains a colour indicator that shows when the product has been exhausted.
The descaling agent does not produce unpleasant fumes and is suitable for use with iron, cast iron, stainless steel, copper and brass.
Dosage:
- 1 kg DS-3 dissolves approximately 0.5 kg of limescale
Applications:
- Heat exchangers, buffer tanks (domestic hot water cylinders), instantaneous water heaters, boilers, steam boilers, cooling systems, industrial plants
Powder product: safe in transport and use.

Bonjour Pouvons-nous utiliser ce produit pour détartrer un bolier en acier émaillé ?
Answer OEG:
Non, ce n'est pas recommandé car ce produit est très agressif. Si la surface émaillée présente déjà quelques microfissures (généralement non visible), ou à certains endroits un peu plus fines, le détartrant va détruire la couche de protection par le bas. Nous recommandons une anode sacrificielle pour les préparateurs d'eau sanitaire. En fonction de la dureté locale de l'eau, vérifiez et remplacez cette anode à court ou moyen terme.
