Fixing plug for insulation panels with plastic nails for mounting insulation panels to concrete, aerated concrete, solid brick, hollow brick or silicate in exterior applications. The plug sleeve made of polypropylene is expanded by hammering in the nail. The nail presses the sleeve against the wall of the borehole, seals the thermal insulation layer and, thus, creates a permanently strong hold.
