All product informationGWR thermal flue gas damper for controlling the flue opening on wall-hung gas appliances such as instantaneous gas water heaters, gas storage water heaters and combination boilers. The damper housing is made of stainless steel and the control elements operate independently of each other and are made of thermo-bimetal.
The pivotless flue damper responds very sensitively to temperature differences. As soon as the burner reaches a flue gas temperature of around 40 °C after being switched on, the damper opens automatically. When the burner is switched off, it closes again automatically. This prevents heated room air and stored heat in the appliance from being lost, helping to save energy and reduce fuel consumption.
The robust flue gas damper is maintenance-free, durable and resistant to contamination. It is designed exclusively for vertical installation.

Hallo. Da diese und ihre Verwandten nur für Gas-Durchlauf-Wasserheizer geeignet sind, könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass es daruf hindeutet in dem man es abgekürzt hat. Aus dem englischen geholt. Gas-Water-Radiator.
