La sonnette a une portée de 150 mètres, mais uniquement en plein champs . La portée peut être extrèment limitée s'il y a une installation de métal, d'objets métalliques ou de verre à proximité. Une distance minimale de 5 mètres doit être respectée.
Selon le fabricant, un bouton-poussoir peut commander plusieurs sonnettes de la série 3, 5 ou 9.
