- The perfect protection for patio heaters
- Required according to DIN EN 14543, 5.5.3 and 5.6.
The problem:
If the terrace heater tips over accidentally, gas can escape or even reach the burner in liquid form through the pipe! The possible consequences could be very dangerous, especially with people around, e.g. in restaurants.
The solution:
The KS-40 gas valve interrupts the gas flow immediately if the appliance tilts beyond a dangerous angle, directly behind the regulator. Once the patio heater is returned to an upright position, the valve resumes normal gas flow automatically.
Application range:
- Mandatory for non-stationary patio heater pursuant to DIN EN 14543.
- Suitable for all mobile appliances with safety pilot where the potential hazard of tilting applies.
- Ideal for retrofitting.
Technical data:
- Operating pressure 30 or 50 mbar
- max. operating pressure 65 mbar
- max. inclination angle 40°
- DVGW tested
