The excess flow valve is an automatic safety device, which instantly blocks the gas flow in the pipe when a preset value is accidentally exceeded. This is an active tool to protect against tampering according to the technical rules of gas installation (TRGI). The pipe is also protected in case of breakage. t is suitable for all types of gas as per EN 437 and DVGW G260/1.
The flow safety device can be installed horizontally or vertically upwards.
