The gas flow monitor is an automatic safety device, which instantly blocks the gas flow in the pipe when a preset value is accidentally exceeded. This is an active tool to protect against tampering according to the technical rules of gas installation (TRGI). This means that the flow monitor protects against criminal or unintended interventions. It serves as a safety measure for non-metal pipes (DVGW-VP 632) to avoid explosions in case of fire.
It is suitable for horizontal or vertical installation with upwards flow direction.
