The gas flow monitor is an automatic safety device, which immediately stops the gas flow through a line if a preset value is reached. This is an active tool to make manipulation more difficult (TRGI). This means that the flow monitor protects against criminal or unintended intrusions. It serves as a safety measure for non-metallic pipes (DVGW-VP 632) to avoid explosions in the event of fire.
It is suitable for horizontal and vertical installation with upwards flow direction.
