The Bender gunmetal KFR valves (combined free-flow and check valve) are used for shutting off drinking water installations during repair and maintenance works with additional check valve when the valve is open. A pre-loaded spring prevents backflow, also in rest position. KFR valves have a non-rising, long-life gunmetal grease chamber bonnet without dead space with teflonised stem and plugs on both sides. The flat EPDM seals are approved as per KTW / W270. All materials are compliant with drinking water as per DIN 50930 Part 6 or UBA list 03/2018.
