The backflow preventer provides reliable protection for potable water installations against backflow, back pressure or back siphonage of contaminated water. It is ideally suited for connection to draw-off points and filling valves, as well as for topping up heating systems. In addition to providing effective backflow protection, the unit incorporates an integrated shut-off valve, allowing the water flow to be conveniently isolated during maintenance or for temporary interruption of the supply.
To ensure full compliance with applicable standards and proper operation, the device must be installed in a vertical position with the discharge connection facing downwards. The housing is rotatable, enabling flexible adjustment of the installation direction. The built-in strainer protects against debris and extends the service life of the device.
