The leakage detector is used for visual and acoustic signalisation of fluid accumulations ocurring e.g. in case of tank leaks, backwater or flooding. It consists of a display unit with integrated pilot lamp, alarm lamp and buzzer that can be muted as well as a flexible PTC thermistor probe. The PTC thermistor probe is mounted at the object to be monitored, at the lowest point of the collection area. The alarm is triggered after being wetted by the leaking liquid.
