The mixing valve for domestic hot water is designed for temperature limitation, if storage tank temperatures are too high. Suitable for solar and solid-fuel systems, which have loaded the storage tank to the max. The mixing valve also provides an anti-scald function. The valve responds to a failure of the cold water supply by a complete closing of the hot water supply port. The protective cap prevents unintended changes of the temperature setting.
