The mixing unit is used in domestic hot water systems in a central place directly behind the heat generator, which is heated up by a solar heating, where high water temperatures may exist in the tank, and where a constant mixed water temperature control and an anti-scald protection is required.
The thermal control valve in the hot water pipe should be equipped with a water-insulation loop to reduce thermal load.
This series is also suitable for domestic hot water preparation systems with circulation line.
In Germany, the DVGW work sheets W551 - W553 should be noted.
