This temperature sensor measures the outdoor temperature via a projecting sensing element and provides the controller with a passive PT1000 signal. The external sensor sleeve enables temperature changes to be detected quickly so that weather-compensated control strategies can be implemented precisely. This supports stable operating conditions in temperature-controlled systems, including in damp rooms, cold stores, greenhouses and industrial environments. Where the sensor is exposed to direct sunlight, a suitable sunshade must be used to ensure that the measured value accurately reflects the actual weather conditions.
