The OEG SilverTec multi-layer composite pipe is versatile for heating and cooling systems as well as for drinking water and sanitary installations.
It consists of an extruded basic polyethylene pipe with aluminium jacket covered
with a layer of white polyethylene for protection. The dimensionally stable joint can be easily bent by hand and remains in the desired shape without springback.
Due to the low roughness of the cross-linked plastic, there are no material removals or deposits within the pipe. The smooth inner wall does not cause any audible flow noises.
Thermal expansion is comparable to that of metal pipes. The pipe is absolutely impermeable.
The OEG SilverTec multi-layer composite pipe complies with the UBA positive list and has DVGW and KIWA approvals. It is suitable for all types of drinking water.

Dit product is momenteel in productie en zal begin volgende week weer uit voorraad leverbaar zijn.
Kan deze buis gebruikt worden voor stadverwarming water met een ph waarde van tussen 9.5 en 10?

De buis is niet geschikt voor stadsverwarming, omdat deze permanent hogere temperaturen kan genereren. Hierbij is het gebruik van metalen buizen aan te raden.
Existe t'il en couleur rouge ? Code de commande OEG svp ? Idem pour les produits isolés 6mm en diamètre 16 et 20 ?

Le tuyau multicouche aluminium 26 x 3 mm en rouge existe seulement en 10 mm.C´est la réf Alumiium multi-layer pipe 16 x 2 mm with insulation 10 mm
Le bleu est pour l'eau froide et le rouge pour l'eau chaude. Dans ce dernier cas, les différences de température sont plus importantes, de sorte que l'isolation doit être plus épaisse.
your data sheet says max 6 bar but you write 10 bar on your website, what is correct ?
Hello, the data sheet refers to the indication of the short-term operation at a temperature of +95 °C, then there is an operating pressure of a maximum of 6 bar advised. In a continuous operation, a temperature of +70 °C, at an operating pressure of 10 bar is approved.
