This pipe contact sensor is used to reliably record the pipe temperature for contact measurements on heating and sanitary installations. Its very small design even fits under the pipe insulation and ensures fast thermal coupling thanks to the silicone rubber sensor in the mini housing. It is installed using a self-locking pipe clamp, similar to a cable tie, and does not require any heat-conducting paste.
The short response time makes the sensor particularly suitable for modern, low-inertia control systems with short pipe runs in heating, sanitary, solar thermal, air conditioning, ventilation and building automation. It covers all common pipe materials, including stainless steel, plastic and composite pipes.
