This pressure limiter is used to implement a safety-oriented overpressure shutdown in pumps and pressure boosting systems. The mechanical diaphragm–bellows measuring system detects the applied pressure for water, oil or air. After tripping, the shutdown remains latched until it is manually reset and the system is deliberately released again. The changeover contact allows the pressure switch to be integrated cleanly into the control system.
Designed for applications where safety takes priority over automatic restart.
