Safety temperature limiter for reliable system protection at high temperatures.

This electromechanical safety temperature limiter protects heating, ventilation and heat generation systems against impermissibly high temperatures. When the set cut-out temperature is reached, the switching mechanism locks mechanically and interrupts the circuit so that any further rise in temperature is prevented. It can only be reset after sufficient cooling and manual release via a reset device located beneath a covered screw cap.
The switch-off temperature is set internally using a scale inside the housing and can only be adjusted with a tool, which prevents unintentional changes. A shatterproof capillary sensor combines immersion sensor and contact sensor in a single system and thus enables flexible temperature measurement. Installation is carried out in a protection pocket, with additional option for surface or pipe mounting using a clamping band. Integrated ambient temperature compensation stabilises the switching accuracy even under changing installation conditions.

This allows reliable safety shut-off to be implemented in heating and HVAC systems.
