The system is also ideal for retrofitting, for instance with infrared heating elements. The surface-mounted control unit has different operating modes like automatic, heating, eco, holiday and party operation, an automatic summer/winter changeover, a learning mode and child protection. When a battery change is due, it will be signalled by a flashing LED.
