Safety system type F-Stop® GWG-FSS basic unit 1660000

Basic unit consisting of:
- level sensor FSS
- connection unit I and II
- tail plug
- mounting accessories
Field of application:
- installation in battery tanks that are not equipped with a limit indicator
Advantages and equipment:
- installation of the level sensor FSS in every free tank plate or in the
  level gauge type FSA which can include a limit indicator such as type GWD
- a battery tank can be equipped simultaneously with up to 10 level
  sensors of type FSS, for the individual tanks without limit indicators
- when a tank reaches its permitted degree of filling, a further filling of the other tanks is not possible
- level sensor as an optical sensor with protection cover
- the level sensor can removed from the tank without any problems in the context of recurring tests
- level sensor is premounted with the connection unit II and connection cable with plug for
  another connection unit II or for connection unit I at the limit indicator GWD
- LED in connection unit II which signals that the permissible degree of filling has been reached
- by means of the tail plug included in the scope of delivery, a separate test
  of the limit indicator on-site can be performed if the connection unit I has been mounted

General approval by the building authorities no. Z-65.17-495CE-confomrity according to EMV guideline 2004/108/EC

- aluminium probe pipe with outer diameter Ø 10 mm
- probe length = 300 mm
- attachment connection unit I and II at the probe pipe Ø 10 mm of the limit indicator
  or level sensor FSS by clip
- cable connection of the limit indicator via clamps in the connection unit I
- length of connection cable level sensor FSS to the connection unit I or
  to another connection unit II 1.5 m
- 2 straps for connection cables to sample lines with outer diameter of up to 30 mm
- cable length level sensor FSS to connection unit II: 0.25 m
- dimensions connection unit I and II (H/W/D): 67 x 67 x 28 mm
Note:
The setting dimension XFSS of the permissible degree of filling 95% (V/V) must be specified by the tank manufacturer.
The tail plug included must always be plugged in the socket of the last connection unit II.
The circuit of the limit indicator is shared for the level sensor FSS by on-site separation of the connection cable and connecting the cable ends in the connection unit I.
