TB350, OEG intermediate tank

Application
The OEG intermediate tanks are used where heating oil must be provided over long or large distances between burner and heating oil tank in the burner area, particularly with cogeneration units and emergency power generators. The intermediate tank is suitable for systems already equipped with an oil pump and which can then be activated by the pump control of the intermediate tank. Gas/air emissions forming can gas out in the operating cylinder of the unit so that the burner can remove oil that is bubble-free oil. The tank should be installed directly next to the burner. Optionally, single or twin-pump systems can be controlled.
Function
Intermediate tanks are set up near the burner, the cogeneration unit or the emergency power generator. The heating oil from the oil tank is then fed into the storage tank of the intermediate tank with an external pump where the burner removes the heating oil. The upstream pumps are connected to the pump control and, thus, controlled. If the heating oil level in the operating cylinder drops below a set level, the control of the pumps switches on. If the level has reached its value again, the pumps are switched off. Exceeding or falling below the permissible level range is controlled by means of appropriate safety devices and switch the pumps off immediately. An additional leak-detection device in the oil sump pan monitors potentially escaping oil from the tank and switches off the pumps in case of a leakage.
