Can you please check the following points to see if they are causing the error message and can you please send us the Commissioning report as well?
1. how does the flow rate behave when the heat pump is running? Does the flow rate fluctuate at certain moments (e.g. when a three-way valve switches over? Is the nominal flow rate reached at any time? The nominal flow rate can be found on the rating plate or in the technical documentation in the operating instructions. Does the heat pump go into fault mode immediately after starting up after 30 seconds?
2. is the pre-pressure of the expansion vessel possibly too low? And how high is the system pressure? If the system pressure is too low, e.g. at night when it gets colder, the pressure can drop so low that the float in the deaerator sinks and the system sucks in air. If the air bubble is large enough, the pump cannot overcome the resistance and the heat pump switches to fault mode. It starts up again after 30 seconds. If no flow can be measured after a further 30 seconds, it switches to fault permanently. If necessary, check the inlet pressure, increase the system pressure and vent the system.
3. was the system flushed beforehand? If necessary, clean the filter and sludge separator.
4 Clean the flow meter and replace if necessary.
5. is the circulation pump possibly stuck (dry) or defective? Has P59 (the minimum flow rate of the circulation pump) been changed? Set to 8 at the factory. The minimum flow rate must not be undercut.
6. what pipe dimensions have been installed and are there any parts in the pipework that form a bottleneck? Three-way valve, for example? All pipes and components must have at least the inside diameter of the connections on the HP. Please note that e.g. 28 mm pipe has 1’ connections. However, there are thick-walled pipes that may have an internal diameter that is too small.
7. how long are the pipework?
8. is there a bypass? Please check that the overflow valve is set correctly.
