Motor-driven flue gas damper MOK AD with actuator to control the flue gas opening in oil and gas fireplaces without pilot flame and condensate formation, metal-to-metal sealing for negative pressure flue gas systems. The housing and the damper parts are made of high-quality stainless steel and the integrated sealing membrane is made of EPDM.

The motor-controlled damper opens already before the burner is started up, thus preventing flue gas build-up, unlike thermal dampers, which react later. In solid fuel appliances, the damper ensures optimum combustion in conjunction with stove control. When the heating system is not in use, the flue gas damper closes automatically, preventing the loss of heated room air and heat stored in the stove. This leads to energy savings and reduces fuel consumption.

In cascade systems, the motorised flue gas damper prevents the unwanted escape or backflow of flue gases by closing all unused fireplaces. The patented mechanism guarantees maximum operational safety, a long service life and reliable functionality, regardless of the installation position or location. In addition, manual operation and functionality check are possible at any time.
