Multi-layer composite pipe with insulation
The OEG SilverTec multi-layer composite pipe is versatile for heating and cooling systems as well as for drinking water and sanitary installations.
It consists of an extruded basic polyethylene pipe with aluminium jacket covered with a layer of white polyethylene for protection. The dimensionally stable joint can be easily bent by hand and remains in the desired shape without springback.
Due to the low surface roughness of the cross-linked plastic, material removals or deposits cannot arise within the pipe. The smooth inner wall does not cause any audible flow noises.
Thermal expansion can be compared with that of metal pipes. The pipe is absolutely impermeable.
The OEG SilverTec multi-layer composite pipe complies with the UBA positive list and has DVGW and KIWA approvals. It is suitable for all types of drinking water.
