SilverTec multi-layer composite piping is versatile for heating and cooling systems as well as for drinking water and sanitary installations.
It consists of an extruded basic polyethylene pipe with aluminium jacket covered with a layer of white polyethylene for protection. This dimensionally stable, highly temperature- and pressure-resistant joint can be easily bent by hand and remains in the desired shape without springback.
Thanks to the butt-welded aluminium layer, oxygen diffusion is not possible. The material is completely corrosion-free. That is why installations with SilverTec multi-layer composite pipes are absolutely tight permanently. The low roughness of the cross-linked plastic prevents material removals or incrustations within the pipe. The smooth inner wall does not cause any audible flow noises and it is, therefore, particularly low-noise. The material properties and pipe circumference comply with the finest tolerances.
The thermal length expansion of the compound material is very low and can be compared to that of metal pipes, however, it provides the benefit of a significantly easier handling because of the much lower weight.
As stock goods, the pipe provides an at least 6-month UV resistance in unprotected storage. The SilverTec multi-layer composite piping complies with the UBA positive list and is DVGW and KIWA certified. It is suitable for all types of drinking water.

Nous utilisons des raccords à sertir TH pour ces tubes. Charge continue +70°C, pointes de température 95°C possibles.
Le tuyau multicouche n'est pas utilisé pour les systèmes solaires.

Hallo, das Rohr soll für einen Kältekreislauf verwendet werden. D.h. Temperaturen zwischen 14 und 22 Grad verarbeiten. Da spielt die Temperaturbeständigkeit eine untergeordnete Rolle. Deswegen meine Frage: Ist das Rohr auch für Glykol zugelassen?

Sie können das System verwenden mit einem Glykol-Wasser-Gemisch. Das Glykol darf höchstens eine Konzentration von 20% haben.
