How can customer support and advising be improved?

5 OEG sales representatives have got an answer to this question: learning by doing! So the Friday before last they knuckled down and rolled up their sleeves. With an OEG service technician on-site a 4flex® solar system was installed. After a short briefing, it all started with the mounting of rafter anchors and rails on the roof. This was easily done within only a short time and they could begin to mount the 4flex®tubes. After the first tube had been fixed onto the mounting rail with just one screw, the other tubes weighing only 2.2 kg could be rapidly mounted onto the roof with the simple click-fit system - no additional tools neccessary. Now they only had to install the Spirovent solar micro bubble separator, fix the connection sets and connect the corrugated solar pipe. All the roof work was finished then. After a short coffee break, work continued in the attic. The expansion vessel and the solar station were installed and connected with the solar line. After the pre-pressure had been checked and set at 1.2 bar and the collector and tank sensor had been connected, the system could be filled by means of the OEG filling station. Only the adjustment of the OEG controller KS2W was left to be done. All the participants were enthusiastic about how uncomplicated the adjustment of the parameters was. Then the great moment was there - commissioning! All the employees were proud of their first selfmade 4flex® solar power system and they are already looking forward to their next learning-by-doing project.

On Saturday, October 18th 2014, a group of 14 customers once again took the opportunity to attend the tank and solar technology seminar at OEG and to witness the company's tank production first hand.

Besides the improved 4flex solar pipes and the thermal management of 4plus collectors, high-quality hygienic storage tanks were very well received by the customers.

After a short "trip" to the webshop, where the seminar participants learnt about tips and tricks, they took a closer look at all production steps from the pipe coil to the completion of the final storage tank. At a leisurely dinner, the day was reflected upon and the group exchanged their experiences.

As of now, you will receive 1 OEG coin for each of your customer reviews in the OEG shop. Your OEG coins can be converted into product vouchers in your account area using OEG-Coins. This means, for instance: If you write 10 reviews, you will get 10 OEG coins and can convert these into a 10-Euro product voucher afterwards.

Use the new function of the ordering proposal in the OEG online shop! You can give your employees a special employee-login for this so that they can create order proposals on a gross price basis, which are then displayed in your main account to enable them. Very easy!

And this is how it is done:

Log in Choose 'Contact' under the heading 'My account'. Add an employee and put the tick in 'Create an order proposal'. Assign a user name and password for your employee. Finished!

Then your employee can create order proposals with this access or he can advise the client on site, since the gross prices are displayed without VAT here. Once your employee has created an order proposal, you will find this under the heading My Account - Order Proposals. If necessary, take these in your main cart.

Early Friday afternoon the group started with a tour of the storage tank production facilities.

All important and interesting production steps were presented live: From the automated wiring of the corrugated stainless steel pipe and the heat exchangers, over plasma cutters and welding stations up to foaming the high-quality insulation.

After that, the solar and storage tank seminar started. The 4flex® heat pipe and hygienic storage tanks were in the centre of interest, of course.

Among lots of tips and tricks for on-site installation, the most important quality features also came up. A 20-year warranty on the solar pipe and a 10-year warranty on OEG's hygienic storage tanks do speak for themselves when craftmen and customers talk.

All the participants contributed their knowledge to the discussions and after the ensuing dinner, experiences were shared until late into the night.
