Montiert wird die Verschraubung wie folgt. Nachdem das Ende des Wellrohres mit dem Klopferwerkzeug plan geklopft worden ist, wird es in die Verschraubung eingeführt. Der Messing Klemmring, sowie die Verschraubung werden vorher auf das entsprechende Ende aufgesteckt. Dann wird die Verschraubung kräftig mit einer Gegenbewegung zweier Zangen festgezogen.
