Diermayer HKS 100 Flue gas damper, thermally controlled

HKS thermal flue gas damper for controlling the flue opening on floor-standing gas appliances such as gas boilers, storage water heaters and heating inserts. The damper housing is made of stainless steel and the control elements operate independently of each other and are made of thermo-bimetal.

The pivotless damper reacts very sensitively to temperature differences. As soon as the burner reaches a flue gas temperature of around 40 °C after being switched on, the damper opens automatically. When the burner is switched off, the damper closes again automatically. This prevents heated room air and stored heat in the appliance from being lost, helping to save energy and reduce fuel consumption.

The robust flue gas damper is maintenance-free, durable and resistant to contamination. It can be installed both horizontally and vertically.
