Fixing plug for insulation panels with steel nail for mounting insulation panels to concrete, aerated concrete, solid bricks, hollow bricks or silicate in exterior applications. The plug sleeve made of polypropylene expands by hammering in the nail. The nail presses the sleeve against the wall of the bore hole, seals the thermal insulation layer and, thus, creates a permanently strong hold. The plastic impact head protects the nail against corrosion.
