Fixing plug for insulation panels with steel nail for mounting insulation panels to concrete, aerated concrete, solid brick, hollow brick or silicate in exterior applications. The plug sleeve made of polypropylene is expanded by hammering in the nail. The nail presses the sleeves against the walls of the borehole, seals the thermal insulation layer and, thus, creates a permanently strong hold. The plastic head protects the nail against corrosion.
