Potentiostat for the power supply of the impressed-current anode in enamelled tanks from 300 litres and more.
The system, working as a so-called "interrupter potentiostat", interrupts the protective current input through the titanium anode periodically in short intervals in order to measure the potential existing between the anode and the inner wall of the storage tank during these intervals.
In case this actual value deviates from the reference voltage defined by the potentiostat, the protective current supplied is then adjusted by the potentiostat automatically.
