Flue silencers
Flue silencers are used in chimneys to provide sound insulation for heating systems.
They prevent operating noise from being transmitted through the flue right up to the terminal of the flue system, which could otherwise cause exceedance of statutory limits for noise emissions.
The flue silencers are suitable for all standard combustion appliances and are particularly effective at medium and high frequencies, with attenuation values between 15 dB and 25 dB. As moisture often occurs in the flue section, the silencers are made of stainless steel to prevent corrosion and ensure long service life.
